This event stems way back in time, to when a church service was held at St Chad’s Church and to mark the season the Councillors gave the children a mince pie.
Over the years the event has grown and become the popular event that it is today.
If you enjoy the Christmas season and want to make your local festivities a time to remember, just get in touch and get involved!
Volunteers are always welcome to join in and help to transform the town centre into a winter scene, so just get in touch.
