See Poulton-le-Fylde transformed into a winter wonderland with the arrival of the Christmas festival.
This event stems way back in time, to when a church service was held at St Chad’s Church and to mark the season the Councillors gave the children a mince pie. Over the years the event has grown and become the popular event that it is today.
Father Christmas arrives at Poulton Station and parades to the town centre, where an outdoor market is held into the early evening, with street entertainment and funfair rides and an evening of fun for everyone that goes on until about 8pm.
A Christmas service is held at St Chad’s Church, including the Lighting of the Crib.
If you enjoy the Christmas season and want to make your festivities a time to remember, just get in touch and get involved! Volunteers are always welcome to join in and help to transform the town centre into a winter scene, so just get in touch.
